An American woman is facing felony s£x trafficking after she was nabbed trying to sell off her baby daughter to a man for s£x in exchange for $400.

Thirty-two-year-old Morgan D. Stapp of Indianapolis, was arrested earlier in the week at a home in the city.

She committed the offence in November last year, when she allegedly uploaded three pictures of her daughter on Snapchat with one of the messages reading one message reading, “U can f**k her for 400$.”

The mum with the user name, “morgan-stapp,” brazenly listed the age of her daughter as 7 months.

The woman announced on the app that she would send her address to whoever was interested.

She further disclosed that she lived alone, and the father of the baby was not in the picture.

When Stapp was confronted, she initially claimed that her account had been hacked and she had no access to it.

When she was further questioned, the mother of seven children admitted to FBI agents that she did it.

The FBI was invited to collaborate with the police in the case in December.

A member of the police team was then granted a search warrant for Stapp’s Snapchat account.

During their search, the police found selfies saved in the app with thousands of messages also sent in the days after her interview with the FBI.

Using technology, investigators were able to establish that the activity on Snapchat Stapp’s Snapchat happened in an area near her home address.

She was formally charged on July 1 on July 1 in Marion Superior Court.
