A trending video has shown the moment a man who professes to be a pastor was apprehended by community residents for impregnating his own daughters.

The incident reportedly happened in a village called Igbeche, about 30 km northeast of Port Harcourt, Rivers State.

The man, who called his church Upper Chamber, was stripped naked and interrogated by village youths numbering over a dozen.

He did not deny the allegations, but blamed it on “witchcraft force.”

The man’s wife was asked if she was aware of the atrocity the man was committing under their roof. She said she was.

The youths condemned her for not speaking out to expose the ‘evil’ the man was doing behind closed doors.

She, however, insisted that she did nothing wrong in protecting the man since she was meant to cover him as his wife and he told him he would never do it again.

“He is my beloved husband. I’m his wife. I can never expose him, since he apologised and said he would never do it again,” she said.

However, the leader of the youths tongue-lashed her, accusing her of condoning evil.

The son of the man also stepped forward to accuse the man of placing a curse on him, apparently for exposing him.

The youths descended on the disgraced pastor with slaps and kicks, asking him to reverse the curse.

The man hurriedly complied after receiving a beating.

The youths vowed to demolish the man’s church, calling it a house of evil.
