Tragedy struck at the Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka, when a 300-level Microbiology student identified as Tochi Martins Attah, reportedly fell and gave up the ghost while playing football.
It was gathered that the incident occurred on the premises of Elmada Hostel this morning, Monday, July 7, 2025.
Reports indicate that Attah was a younger brother to Dr. Simon Attah, the chairman of the ruling party, the All Progressives Congress (APC), in Igbo-Etiti LGA of Enugu State.
It was gathered that Attah recently swapped his course for a medical one.
The news of his demise was confirmed by the President of Useh Youths, Engr. Sabastine Aku, in a statement.
