A mechanic, Karl Farrar, 49, has had his manhood crushed by an out-of-control car.

The hapless man is currently unsure if he will ever use his appendage again.

The freak accident happened when Farrar tried to reverse the BMW estate into his garage, and jumped out of the car after applying the handbrake.

He noticed shortly afterwards that the car was rolling towards him and he held out his hands to stop it.

His effort was futile as the car pinned him against the wall, injuring his midsection.

Farrar’s shout drew the attention of a colleague who rushed into the car and stepped on the throttle, hoping to drive the car away from the injured man.

The car, which was in reverse mode, slammed further into the injured man before the colleague changed the gear position and drove the car away from Farrar.

Farrar then collapsed on the floor.

A CCTV camera captured the entire scene and has now gone viral after it was posted online.

Farrar, however, says he has not been able to watch the footage back as it was too traumatic for him.

The mechanic is particularly worried about his smashed manhood, as he is unsure if it will function optimally.

He said it was black and blue and almost unrecognisable.

He also complained that the entire area was very painful and sore.

Speaking about the horrific accident, he said his manhood was smashed into his stomach with his belt buckle.

He expressed gratitude that nothing was broken during the accident.

The mechanic recalled that he had done many dangerous things in the past, including drifting racing for 16 years and drag racing. He expressed regret that he injured himself with a ‘ random runaway car’.

Farrar also disclosed that his team later found out the car had an issue with its handbrake.
