A perfume seller, Abosede Fabiyi, is lucky to be alive after she was beaten to stupor by four one-chance robbers in Lagos on Monday.
Fabiyi took to X (Twitter) to narrate her ordeal, attaching a picture of herself with her right eye swollen shut and the other eye redshot.
According to her, she left her office for home and boarded a bus which turned out to be operated by one-chance robbers.
Around Fagba-Ogba in Lagos, they began to beat her in the bus till they put terror in her heart.
They then collected all the valuables on her, including her ATM cards and their PINs.
They withdrew all her money and finally released her to go home after ridding her of her phone and other valuables.
She wrote: “Yesterday, I was robbed and battered by 4 men. All I did wrong was leave my house to look for my daily bread. All money in my account withdrawn, my phone taken and perfume orders that I was to send out when day breaks were stolen.
It breaks my heart that people are wicked.”
Netizens have been sending her sympathetic messages, with some also sharing their own experience with such robbers.
