Nigerian billionaire philanthropist, Alhaji Aminu Alhassan Dantata will be buried in Madina, Saudi Arabia tomorrow, Monday, June 30, 2025, following his demise on Friday in Abu Dhabi.
Mustapha Abdullahi Junaidu, the deceased’s secretary, in a Facebook post, confirmed that the required authorisation to move Dantata’s body from Abu Dhabi to Madina had been obtained.
It was the late billionaire’s wish to be buried in Saudi Arabia.
Junaidu’s post reads, “Praise be to God, praise be to God, praise be to God. Approval has been obtained to transport Aminu Alhassan Dantata from Abu Dhabi to Madina. The funeral prayer will be held tomorrow (Monday) morning, God willing.”
The late business mogul passed away on Friday night, June 27, in an Abu Dhabi hospital following a brief illness.
He was 94 years old.
