Some netizens blame the mother for exposing her to 'evil media'
Ghanaians are mourning the sudden passing of a popular 2-year-old TikToker, Akua Antwiwaa.
Her mother broke the sad news on Wednesday on social media, throwing her fans into mourning.
She did not share the circumstances leading to the demise of the little star. She announced the sad news and shared one of her last videos as a tribute to her.
The mother wrote: “I am sorry to announce the sudden d.eath of my lovely daughter ANTWIWAA…MAY YOU REST IN PERFECT PEACE.”
Condolences have been pouring in for the little star known for her bold dance moves and cheerfulness.
Akua Antwiwaa has over 202k followers on TikTok. She gained popularity on TikTok in 2024 after her mother began posting lovely videos of her on the platform.
Most of the posts were videos of her dancing cheerfully to popular songs and eating independently without any help from her mother.
Some Ghanaians are blaming her early demise on her exposure on social media.
Evans A Owusu wrote: “This small girl doing what on TikTok eii Ama Ghana 🇬🇭 😐”.
Another person, David Arthur, callously wrote: “Next learn how to keep your child from this wicked and evil media if you love your child to grow”.
