Iran has launched at least 10 ballistic missiles at U.S. military bases across the Middle East, in what it calls retaliation for recent U.S. airstrikes on its nuclear facilities ordered by President Donald Trump.

One of the main targets was the Al Udeid Air Base in Qatar, the largest American military installation in the region, which houses over 11,000 troops and advanced aircraft.

Qatari officials confirmed that air defense systems intercepted the incoming missiles, with no reported casualties or damage.

Following the initial strike, air raid sirens were heard at other American bases in Kuwait, Iraq, and Bahrain, suggesting a coordinated offensive.

This marks Iran’s first major counterattack since the U.S. deployed 30,000-pound bunker buster bombs on key Iranian nuclear sites over the weekend.

Tehran has accused the U.S., Israel, and their allies of causing civilian deaths and has vowed prolonged retaliation.

An Iranian official warned that Washington will “pay directly,” with state media threatening that tens of thousands of U.S. troops could be killed if hostilities escalate into a full-scale war.
