EFCC arrests Benue Governor’s aide for allegedly filming s3xual sessions with varsity girls for blackmail

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has arrested Dr. Mkor Aondona, Special Adviser on Documentation, Research, and Planning to the Governor of Benue State, over allegations of sextortion and cyberbullying.
Operatives from the EFCC’s Makurdi Zonal Directorate apprehended Dr. Aondona on Friday, June 20, following petitions filed by multiple female students.
According to the complaints, Dr. Aondona allegedly exploited his official position by recruiting slim and attractive young women for ushering duties under the pretext of offering legitimate opportunities.
However, the students claim that he demanded sexual favours in exchange for selection.
The petition further alleges that Dr. Aondona secretly recorded the sexual encounters without the victims’ consent and later used the footage to blackmail them into continued compliance, threatening to leak the videos if they resisted.
“He said if we refused, he would release the videos,” one victim told investigators. Some of these explicit videos have reportedly already been shared across various online platforms, worsening fears over the victims’ safety and privacy.
The EFCC confirmed that Dr. Aondona remains in custody and will be charged in court upon the completion of ongoing investigations.
“We treat all allegations of sextortion with utmost seriousness and are committed to ensuring justice is served,” an EFCC spokesperson stated.
