Peter Mokwuah, the Nigerian-American man who was incarcerated in his own home in Anambra by his siblings, has regained the use of his legs.
This emerged from an update video shared by his first daughter, Ifunanya Mokwuah, on her TikTok page.
Recall that Ifunanya exposed the wicked treatment meted out to his father by his siblings in Enugwu Ukwu in Anambra State.
He was locked up in a room where he was emaciated and left lying on a mattress on the ground.
His legs had atrophied following a lack of usage over a long period of time.
Ifunanya was able to fly him abroad, where he was put under specialist care and later taken home, where he is now recovering.
For months, he could not even stand up, because according to him, he fell down a few times while trying to stand up in Enugwu Ukwu, and this created fears in his heart to attempt to stand up.
From the videos, Ifunanya sent of him at Lagoon Hospital in Nigeria, and the hospital she took him to in America, he could not even move his legs without assistance from the therapists.
In the latest video she shared, Peter can be seen now walking with the aid of a walker.
The clip also shows him in the living room with his wife, and also in the garden enjoying himself.
