A suspected kidnapper, pretending to be a commercial motorcyclist, has been apprehended in Ogun State while allegedly attempting to abduct a primary school pupil.
The disturbing incident was caught on video and has gone viral on TikTok, showing a large crowd of residents surrounding and restraining the suspect.
According to eyewitnesses, the man arrived in the community on a motorcycle, intending to use it as a guise to lure the young boy.
In the footage, voices could be heard urging the crowd not to harm the man while others called for justice.
The frightened child, who narrowly escaped abduction, recounted how the suspect allegedly tried to use a substance to knock him out.
“He used something to cover my nose,” the boy said in the video.
