Pastor Paul Adefarasin reports to police over viral video involving unregistered vehicle, holding gun-like object

Pastor Paul Adefarasin voluntarily appeared before the Lagos State Police Command on Monday, June 17, following an ongoing investigation into a viral video that captured him holding a gun-like object while driving an unregistered vehicle.

According to the Command’s spokesperson, CSP Benjamin Hundeyin, the cleric is currently being questioned by detectives in relation to the incident.

The video, which circulated widely online, showed Adefarasin appearing to point an object resembling a firearm at a man recording him.

The pastor has since denied owning or handling any firearm. CSP Hundeyin assured the public that the findings of the investigation will be made known once concluded.
