A shocking armed robbery at a gadget store in Enugu has left one man hospitalised after he was shot during the brazen daylight attack.
The incident occurred on the afternoon of Friday, June 13, at Cozeyz Plaza, Onuato, in Enugu State.
CCTV footage now circulating online shows two armed assailants storming the store, immediately targeting a man behind the counter.
The victim, believed to be the store attendant, attempted to flee but was chased down and shot by one of the robbers.
Afterwards, the duo returned to the store and looted various high-value gadgets before escaping.
Photos shared on social media show the pellets removed from the victim’s body as he continues to receive treatment in a hospital.
The store is reportedly owned by the victim’s brother, who has since released the surveillance footage and appealed to the public for help in identifying the culprits.
