“The three of you are useless” – VeryDarkMan slams Davido, Burna Boy, Wizkid over lavish lifestyles amid hardship
Nigerian activist, Martin Otse, better known as Verydarkman, has taken a swipe at Afrobeat powerhouses Davido, Burna Boy, and Wizkid, criticising their extravagant spending on luxury cars while millions of Nigerians continue to struggle.
His comments came in response to Burna Boy’s recent acquisition of a sports car reportedly worth ₦3.5 billion.
In a social media rant, Verydarkman accused the trio of flaunting wealth and ignoring the needs of everyday Nigerians.
“Don’t you people read the room?” he began, calling out Davido directly. “You’re not the government, but what have you done for your people? Davido, what can you boldly say you’ve done for Osun State? All you do is parade your wealth, throw pocket change to get hailed on the streets, and claim to be ‘odogwu’. You people are nothing. The three of you are useless to us.”
The fiery remarks sparked heated reactions online:
