Porsha Williams awarded $40k monthly alimony, Rolls-Royce, stake in $7m mansion for 15-month marriage to Simon Guobadia

Reality TV star Porsha Williams has secured a favourable outcome in her divorce from Nigerian ex-husband, Simon Guobadia, following a court ruling on June 11 that awarded her significant financial benefits and property stakes.
In a virtual court appearance that followed Guobadia’s deportation to Nigeria, the judge upheld the couple’s prenuptial agreement.
Under the terms, Simon is ordered to pay $40,000 per month in alimony to Porsha for the next 14 to 15 months, and also cover her legal expenses.
Additionally, Porsha will retain the Rolls-Royce that was gifted to her during the marriage.
As part of the settlement, she was also granted a shared interest in the couple’s $7 million mansion, which was originally Simon’s premarital asset.
Porsha has until 2027 to decide whether to continue living in the home or sell it. If she chooses to stay, she must refinance the property and buy out Simon’s 50% equity share.
In the meantime, Simon will remain responsible for all property expenses, including mortgage payments.
The court session, which lasted nearly 10 hours, saw no direct communication between the estranged couple.
Reports suggest Simon left the hearing visibly upset and is now considering an appeal. He has 30 days to contest the decision.
Porsha filed for divorce in February 2024, just 15 months after their highly publicised wedding.
