Nigerian singer Timi Dakolo has shared a heartfelt note from his daughter, Halle, in which she accused her mother, Busola Dakolo, of favouritism.
The note followed a family disagreement involving her brother, Alex.
In the letter, Halle expressed her frustration over being punished by her mother after an altercation with Alex, stating that Busola often sides with him.
She admitted her fault in the incident but criticised what she described as consistent unfair treatment.
“What I did was wrong, but one thing that doesn’t sit right with me is my mother’s unfair behaviour towards me,” she wrote.
She further claimed her mother allows certain liberties for Alex that she is denied.
Halle ended the note by asking her father to mediate and show the message to her mother to confirm the sincerity of her concerns.

I’m sending this message to you to inform you about a misinformation that happened between me and my mother it all started when Alex was angry that I came to your room to sleep and started showing signs of aggressiveness but I tried to keep calm but the word irrelevant came out my mouth although you’ve warned me many times not to use it and accept what I did was wrong but one thing that doesn’t sit right with me is my mother’s unfair behavior towards me. She said we should drop our phones and I said ok but please can I listen to T.d Jake’s I’m finding it hard to sleep she said no. I really was having trouble sleeping so I said the phone would be at her side and I will not have any contact with it I only feel like listening to T.d Jake I’ve been feeling weird lately and I need the word of God in the form I can understand. Throughout the whole interaction with my mother, I kept calm and never raised my voice but she was offended by some phrases I said like “I’m confused” in my opinion I think she was quite angry at the fact in the beginning I had a bit of an altercation with Zoe and Alex and reflected her anger towards me. They have been cases where Alex will his a disobey her but she will never go this far ,every single action I take she is judging. They have been more situations when Alex have kept his phone over night to watch football podcasts m, but me listening to T.D Jakes is wrong? I know i shouldn’t but I she can be very biased towards me.In the end I decided to write this message to you, although I know you will take her side I just wish you will hear mine instead of everyone assuming I’m wrong straight away.
