Ex-husband of American reality TV star Porsha Williams Simon Guobadia deported to Nigeria
Simon Guobadia, the estranged husband of American reality TV star Porsha Williams, has been deported to Nigeria after his release from the custody of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).
Guobadia, who had been detained since February 2025 over longstanding immigration violations, was returned to Nigeria following the conclusion of legal proceedings tied to his immigration status.
Reports indicate that his immigration troubles date back to the 1980s when he allegedly overstayed his visa and was placed in deportation proceedings.
His deportation comes amid his ongoing divorce from Porsha Williams, which began in February 2024 after just 15 months of marriage.
Despite being deported, Guobadia is expected to attend a scheduled court hearing on today, June 11, 2025, via video conference.
The session will focus on contentious issues, including ownership of their shared marital home and the terms of their prenuptial agreement.
