Jeremiah Omoto Fufeyin, founder of Christ Mercyland Deliverance Ministry (CMDM), has introduced a controversial product: a specially crafted “anointed nightwear” for women.

Marketed to enhance male fertility by improving sperm count, the garment comes emblazoned with the prophet’s image on the chest area and was unveiled in the cleric’s church, according to a viral video posted online.

In the video, Prophet Fufeyin explains that women whose husbands suffer from low sperm counts should wear this nightwear during intimacy.

“Try it, and the story of your family will change,” he asserts

Reactions have been sharply divided. Some followers defend the garment as a spiritual remedy, while others decry it as a gimmick.

One critic, Murphy Agbogidi, remarked:

“This kind of announcement raises serious concerns about spiritual manipulation… There is no biblical basis for ‘anointed nightwear’ being necessary for reproduction… Couples struggling with fertility need compassion, medical help… not to be sold ‘spiritual solutions.’”

Another user, Sir Koko, called the move a disgrace to Christian values, while others questioned its effectiveness and nature

Prophet Fufeyin, born February 15, 1971, is a prominent yet polarising figure in Nigerian televangelism.

He heads CMDM, based in Delta State, Nigeria, and has courted controversy before, most notably over his soap and mustard seed “miracle products.”

He was once called out by critic VeryDarkMan for one of his many controversial products. He slammed the critic with a defamation suit, which he later discontinued.

This latest initiative continues Fufeyin’s pattern of blending religious faith with marketed spiritual solutions, each time renewing debates on ethical ministry, regulatory oversight, and the intersection of faith and healthcare.
