A deadly shooting unfolded on the Las Vegas Strip on Sunday, June 8, when a gunman fatally shot two individuals outside the Bellagio Hotel in a shocking attack witnessed by tourists and partially streamed live on YouTube.
The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department reported that officers responded to calls of gunfire and discovered two victims suffering from gunshot wounds.
Despite prompt emergency aid, both victims were pronounced dead at the scene.
Video footage from the incident captured the moments leading up to the violence. Tourists are seen casually walking along the Strip when panic suddenly erupts.
One man, laughing into a camera, reacts to something off-screen before fleeing. Another man emerges, points a firearm, and opens fire. Screams erupt as bystanders scatter in terror. A woman is heard shouting, “Are you f***ing kidding me?!”
The brazen nature of the attack, combined with its partial live broadcast on a popular YouTube channel, has left the city in shock.
Additional video clips also show officers attempting to revive one of the victims on the pavement near the hotel entrance.
Authorities believe the suspect and victims were acquainted and that the violence may have stemmed from a dispute linked to a social media argument.
The suspect’s identity remains undisclosed as investigators continue efforts to locate him.
Police are urging anyone with information or additional video evidence to assist with the ongoing investigation.
