Nigerian singer and performer Darey Art Alade and his wife, Deola, have survived a terrifying ordeal after their vehicle was engulfed in flames on the Third Mainland Bridge, Lagos.

Deola described the event as both shocking and painful, emphasizing the fragility of material possessions when faced with the stark reality of life.
“It was a profoundly shocking and deeply painful experience,” she wrote. “But it reminded me that lives are irreplaceable and far more valuable than anything else.”
She continued by expressing gratitude to God for sparing their lives and giving them the strength to cope with the aftermath.
“I am grateful to my Creator for protection, for strength, and for the resilience to move forward,” she said.
