The fallout between Elon Musk and President Donald Trump has taken a darker turn, with Musk now alleging that Trump is named in the unreleased Jeffrey Epstein files.
In a post on X (formerly Twitter) on Thursday night, June 5, Musk suggested that Trump’s alleged connection to the late financier is the reason the U.S. government has yet to make the Epstein files fully public.
“@realDonaldTrump is in the Epstein files. That is the real reason they have not been made public,” Musk wrote.
He ended the message with a pointed jab: “Have a nice day, DJT!”
The comment marks a sharp departure from what was once seen as a political alliance between the two powerful figures.
Their relationship has rapidly deteriorated in recent weeks, with both trading personal and political blows across social media and public appearances.
