EFCC declares two more suspects wanted over N1.3 trillion CBEX crypto fraud

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has declared two additional suspects wanted in connection with the massive fraud involving Crypto Bridge Exchange (CBEX), a collapsed digital trading platform.

The individuals, identified as Folashade Odelana and Bamidele Ayodele Abiodun, are accused of masterminding fraudulent schemes that resulted in severe financial losses for thousands of investors.

The EFCC made the announcement on Wednesday, June 4, via its official social media platforms, urging members of the public to assist with any credible information regarding the whereabouts of the suspects.

This development follows the collapse of CBEX in April, which wiped out over ₦1.3 trillion from investors’ wallets, sparking widespread outrage and financial hardship among affected Nigerians.

The anti-graft agency reaffirmed its commitment to pursuing all individuals connected to cyber-related financial crimes, particularly those exploiting the booming digital asset market
