“You embezzled millions” — Rita Edochie drags colleague, Nneoma Ukpabi in escalation of their rift over indecency
The feud between Nollywood actresses Rita Edochie and Nneoma Ukpabi has taken a dramatic new turn, as Rita claps back with serious allegations of corruption.
Rita fired the first salvo by calling out Nneoma for baring her breasts at Ruby Orjiakor’s wedding.
Hours after, Nneoma Ukpabi released a video warning Rita to stop mentioning her name.
Rita fired back in a bombshell Instagram post, accusing her colleague of embezzlement, indecent conduct, and more.
Rita alleged that during Nneoma’s tenure as AGN Imo State Chairman, she embezzled millions and begged her as a member of the probe committee to help cover it up.
“You kept calling and pleading with me to help cover you up… because you embezzled their millions,” she wrote.
Rita said she declined to help her and went ahead to expose the embezzlement as they discovered it during their probe. She said Uneoma still managed to get a second term.
“As the rogue you are, you paid your way through.”
She also called out Nneoma’s outfit at Ruby Orjiakor’s wedding, describing it as “irresponsible and indecent,” which reportedly reignited their public spat.
“I am saying it again and again — you are a bad influence,” Rita emphasised.
Ending her post with a strong dismissal, Rita added, “There’s a long pace between my level and yours — and you know it.”
