The Kano State Government has declared an 11-day Eid-el-Kabir holiday for all primary and secondary schools in the state.
The break begins on Wednesday, June 4, 2025, and terminates on Sunday, June 15, 2025.
The directive applies to both day and boarding schools across the state.
Parents of boarding students are urged to pick up their children early on June 4.
The Ministry of Education emphasised that the break aligns with the 2024/2025 academic calendar, and there will be no changes to existing academic plans.
The Commissioner of Education, Ali Makoda, called on parents to ensure the timely return of students after the break and wished all pupils a peaceful Sallah holiday.
