Alleged accomplice of Enugu native doctor revealed as religious businessman active on Facebook

Nigerians are reeling in disbelief following the arrest of Uche Kingsley Agumba, one of the alleged accomplices of a notorious Enugu-based native doctor accused of ritual killings and kidnapping.
On May 26, a 13-year-old girl was abducted while heading to the farm with her father.
A day later, her cries led locals to the residence of the infamous native doctor, Obi Obieze — also known as Obu Onyeka, “Ezeani,” and “E-Dey-Play-E-Dey-Show.” The girl was found tied up, reportedly set to be used for a ritual.
Further investigation uncovered the decomposing remains of multiple victims, including a heavily pregnant woman, buried in a soakaway pit.
Enraged community members torched the native doctor’s house and vehicles after he fled the scene. He was later apprehended while attempting to escape the country.
According to a police statement, three suspects were arrested in connection to the crime: Uche Kingsley Agumba (33), Ilo Nweze Onyedikachi (36), and Ejike Odinwankpa (38).
What shocked many Nigerians — especially those from the South-East — was the revelation that Uche Kingsley was not only a thriving businessman but also known for his devout Christian lifestyle.
Friends and acquaintances recalled him frequently traveling from Aba to Enugu to attend church programs, where he was considered deeply religious.
His social media presence further showcased his ‘faith’.
Uche regularly shared religious content and promotional posts for his building material business based in Ariaria Market, Aba, and furniture material shop in Iloabuchi, Port Harcourt.
Church stickers reportedly adorned his shop, house, and vehicles.
Following the revelations, stunned Nigerians flooded his Facebook page with comments expressing their shock and disappointment.
