Repton Group wins Dangote Cement National Largest Distributor Award
Clinches City People Building Material Sector Excellence Award
Repton Group, a Nigeria-based conglomerate, has emerged as the 2024 National Largest Distributor of Dangote Cement and also received the City People Award of Excellence in the Building Material Sector.
The recognitions were achieved through its cement distribution subsidiary, Kazab Heritage Limited, at two separate events: the Dangote Cement Customers Awards and Gala Night held on Tuesday, May 27, and the City People Awards on Sunday, May 25, both in Lagos.
Otunba Odeyeyiwa Kazeem Olayemi, MD/CEO of Repton Group, highlighted their strategic growth and competitive drive that helped retain the Dangote Cement award, which they first won in January 2024 after previously coming second for three consecutive years.
He and his wife, Yeye Otunba Odeyeyiwa Adesola Mutiat—also a Director—credited the double win to efficient operations, teamwork, and visionary leadership.
The Group includes subsidiaries like Defrost Ventures, Kazab Homes, Ibile Farm, and Kazab Oil and Gas, and continues to hold a strong presence in Nigeria’s building materials sector.
Mr Goke Ilesanmi, CEO, Gokmar Communication Consulting, while congratulating the Group on the double feats, attributed the latest achievements to the exceptional leadership acumen of Otunba and Yeye Otunba Odeyeyiwa.

“Otunba Oyeyeyiwa, for instance, is very encyclopedic when it comes to management, so also is his wife, the Director. Otunba is not resting on his laurels as he is currently undergoing a Doctorate of Business Administration Programme at the California Intercontinental University, USA, despite holding an MBA Degree from the Business School of the Netherlands and another MBA degree in General Management from Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Osun State, among many other management qualifications.”
