A once-popular native doctor in Umumba Ndiagu, Ezeagu Local Government Area of Enugu State, has been exposed for horrific ritual practices after community members uncovered multiple bodies buried in his compound, including that of a heavily pregnant woman believed to have been buried alive.

The native doctor, identified simply as Ezeani, had gained notoriety in his town for claiming to have returned to his ancestral spiritual roots.

However, shocking videos now circulating online reveal the gruesome truth hidden within his premises.

Enraged residents stormed the compound and found decomposing bodies buried in what appeared to be soakaway pits. The upright position of the corpses has led many to believe that the victims were buried alive. One of the most disturbing discoveries was the body of a pregnant woman, found kneeling in an upright position.

It is alleged that Ezeani kidnapped his victims and used them for ritual purposes.

Among the victims was a 13-year-old girl who was rescued alive just before she could be killed.

During the raid, a man claiming to be the compound’s security guard was caught, stripped, and beaten by the mob.

He denied involvement in the killings but admitted to visiting the compound for ritual consultations.

The native doctor, once celebrated in the community and known to have received awards, is currently on the run.

In a show of outrage, community members have burned down his houses and vehicles.

Authorities are continuing their search for the suspect, while investigations into the full scale of his activities are ongoing.
