“Me and my wife join kneel”: Cubana Chief Priest fires back at critics over viral photo


Popular socialite Cubana Chief Priest has addressed backlash over a viral photo showing him kneeling before Vice President Kashim Shettima during a recent visit with music star Davido.
The image, which surfaced online days ago, drew criticism from Nigerians who accused him of grovelling before political elite.

Many claimed the gesture was unnecessary and symbolic of sycophancy.
Responding to the backlash, Cubana Chief Priest took to social media to share a throwback photo of himself and his wife kneeling during a previous visit to the Vice President’s residence.
Alongside the image, he wrote:
“Una dey cry say I kneel. Me and my beloved wife sef join kneel the first time I visited the residence of the VP…”
The post sparked a flurry of reactions online.
