A Nigerian soldier has been accused of physically assaulting a nail technician who attempted to enter a private estate without an entry pass after being unable to reach her client by phone.

The incident, which surfaced on social media platform X (formerly Twitter), sparked outrage after a video was posted showing the visibly injured nail tech with bruises on her face, arm and thighs.

The injuries were allegedly inflicted by the soldier on duty at the estate gate.

According to the post, the nail tech was trying to fulfill a home service appointment but was prevented from entering when her client’s phone number failed to connect.

Unable to reach the resident for clearance, she reportedly attempted to explain the situation to the soldier, who allegedly responded with violence.

The caption accompanying the video read:

“Army beat my nail tech just because her client’s number was not connecting, and she wanted to enter the estate.”

The video quickly drew widespread criticism from users on X, who called for accountability and questioned the soldier’s use of force.
