Abroad-based lady alleges kidnapping, ritual activity at restaurant on Airport road, Lagos (Videos)

A Nigerian woman has taken to social media to raise alarm over alleged kidnapping and ritual practices at a Lagos restaurant, claiming that she narrowly escaped falling victim after requesting to use the restroom when she came to Nigeria.

The accusations against the restaurant (name withheld) were made in a series of posts on X (formerly Twitter) by user @General_Somto, who shared a video in which she appeared visibly distressed and insisted her story was true.

She urged the public to visit the restaurant and verify her claims, stating that she had not reported the incident to the police because she did not trust them to handle it well.

According to her, she requested to use the restroom, and when she was done, she found that the door back into the restaurant was locked and the passage was without light.

She further claimed that the door that was open led into a room where there were pieces of white clothes and other ‘bullsh*t’.

She claimed she started banging on the door and shouting at the top of her voice until she was let out.

She further claimed that she temporarily lost her memory and did not remember what happened to her until she got home and poured cold water on her head.

She claimed she then started having flashbacks about what she experienced in the restaurant, and she told her sister and other people.

Many netizens, however, pointed out that the allegations she made were too weighty to be supported by flimsy evidence.

They accused her of lying and trying to bring down someone else’s business for no justifiable cause.

She responded with another video.

“I’m not lying,” she said in the video. “Inside the restaurant, the first door after the female restroom—go and check it. Many people have died. I’m not trying to ruin anyone’s business.”

She went on to describe what she reportedly saw behind the door next to the female toilet: “white clothes, charms.” She said she shouted “Blood of Jesus!” upon seeing the scene.

Interestingly, another person posted a video claiming her brother had a nasty experience in the same restaurant. She did not go into detail about what exactly her brother experienced at the restaurant.

Netizens continued to pick holes in the woman’s narrative.

@360roundpoint questioned why she didn’t involve law enforcement.

@IgnoreCredit accused her of trying to destroy someone’s livelihood.

@kanayowulus said ranting online without police involvement was pointless.

@Mazi_IkeGod pointed out the lack of evidence and urged the restaurant to sue.

@engine_amr asked for clarity on what was actually seen.

@truehomeboy1 speculated about the restaurant’s location.

@popeehugo mocked her claims, suggesting she might not have paid for her meal and fabricated the story.

Some netizens, however, called on Lagos State to investigate the claims made by the woman and prosecute her if her claims are frivolous.
