The Rivers State Police Command has apprehended a 43-year-old woman named Gift after she allegedly bit off the tip of her lover’s penis during a domestic altercation in the Mile 3 area of Diobu, Port Harcourt.
The shocking incident unfolded along Bishop Okoye Street and quickly became the talk of the neighborhood after disturbing details surfaced.
According to eyewitnesses, the confrontation started when Gift’s partner, identified simply as Sunday, requested sex.
Gift reportedly declined, accusing him of using sex-enhancement drugs that led to unreasonably prolonged intercourse.
A resident who spoke anonymously said, “Sunday became furious and allegedly assaulted her. In retaliation, she grabbed his manhood with her mouth and bit off the cap.”
Sunday’s screams alerted neighbors, who rushed to the scene. Some reportedly attempted to assault the woman before officers from Nkpolu Police Division arrived and took control of the situation.
Police took Gift into custody while Sunday was rushed to a hospital in Port Harcourt for urgent medical treatment.
Confirming the incident, Rivers State Police spokesperson SP Grace Iringe-Koko stated, “Yes, I can confirm the incident. The suspect, a 43-year-old woman, has been arrested, and an investigation is underway.”
