A Nigerian lady has shared a video of the chaotic moment a male passenger engaged in physical combat with officials at the Murtala Mohammed International Airport.
The lady, Aina Amore, who shared the video, said trouble started when the man’s luggage was weighed and he was told his luggage was heavier than the threshold.
He was told to pay for the excess weight or remove some items from his luggage.
This did not go down well with the man, who soon flew into a rage.
When a female supervisor stepped in to defuse the situation, the passenger was said to have insulted her, calling her a b*tch.
She then brought out her phone to film the man’s tantrums, and this further escalated the crisis as the man insisted that the lady must delete the footage of him.
Several men stepped forward to restrain the man from going after the female supervisor.
It became a rowdy scene of pushing and shoving, at which point the enraged passenger picked up a stool, raised it above his head and was going to smash it on the head of an official before somebody held on to it.
It is not clear if the man was arrested.
