A Nigerian man returning home after work has reportedly passed away behind the wheel in thick traffic on the Ketu Expressway, Lagos.
A lady who was driving directly behind the late motorist filmed the scene and posted it on X (formerly Twitter).
Speaking behind the camera while filming the late motorist’s car, the lady said she had been following him in the slow-moving traffic for a while when he suddenly stopped.
The honking of car horns seemed to have no effect on the motorist, prompting some people to go over to check on him and found him slumped behind the steering.
Those who checked on him announced to other motorists that the man was dead.
Passersby and street boys can be seen gesticulating to other motorists to change to other lanes as the dead man’s car had blocked one lane.
The female witness said: “My car was next to the man’s car when I suddenly saw him park. When people gathered to check on him, they discovered he had passed away.”
The post quickly gained traction online, with many concerned individuals expressing their thoughts and condolences in the comment section.
