Nigerian adult content creator Persephone, known online as Sephy (@call_me_sephy), has sparked a buzz online after publicly claiming that she earns more than ₦20 million each month through her digital platform.
In a viral tweet, Sephy revealed that she has 700 subscribers, each paying her ₦30,000 monthly, generating an estimated ₦21 million in revenue.
“I have 700 people sending me 30k every month,” she wrote, adding, “You want me to stop because you like me, but you won’t compensate me? You must be very st—id.”
To back her claim, Sephy posted a screenshot showing her gross earnings at approximately ₦22.23 million, with net earnings of ₦15.62 million. The earnings include money from subscriptions, tips, purchases, and referrals.
While questioning the growing demand for adult content, Sephy had no reservations about capitalizing on it.
“I don’t know why waywardness is selling now,” she said, “but I know I’m going to eat my share of the cake. Where there’s demand, I shall supply.”
