A school staff in the catering unit of a secondary school has been accused of having daily s£xual encounters with a student in a school cupboard.

Jenna Woodworth, 30, was arrested on Thursday, May 8, following allegations of an inappropriate relationship with a student at East Central High School in San Antonio, Texas, United States of America.

After her arrest, a photograph of the teenager was found in her work locker by school staff.

Both Woodworth and the student were questioned by police, where they confessed to their improper relationship.

An arrest affidavit reveals that investigations into the allegations began on Wednesday morning, May 7.

The student’s interview disclosed that Woodworth allegedly picked him up from a stadium car park using a district vehicle.

She is then alleged to have driven him back to the school, where they entered the building through an employee-only entrance to engage in s£xual activity in a cupboard, reports the Mirror.

The boy informed the police that they accessed the building via the canteen’s back door and allegedly had s£x in a kitchen cupboard. After the act, the boy said Woodworth cleaned her hands and resumed her duties.

Woodworth was taken into custody at the Bexar County Jail and was released on bail early Saturday morning, May 10.

Her bail was set at $50,000, according to jail records.

Woodworth is now facing a second-degree felony charge for having an improper relationship with a student, a crime in Texas that could lead to a prison sentence of up to 20 years and a fine of up to $10,000.

The age of the victim has not been revealed by investigators. Despite the age of consent being 17 in Texas, it remains illegal for educators to engage in s£xual activities with students of that age or older, even if consent is given.

Reports suggest that the student and Woodworth have known each other since the student’s first year at the school.

During a police interview, the teenager claimed: “[Woodworth] would get upset with me if I did not speak to her or acknowledge her when I was around her.”

Woodworth had been part of the high school’s nutrition department since 2011. Following her arrest, the school informed parents that she had been dismissed from her role.

Parents were notified of the arrest through a letter sent by the school district, which stated that “immediate and decisive action” was taken as soon as the administration became aware of the incident.

The letter also confirmed that the student’s family had been informed about the relationship and was actively involved in the investigation, and that Child Protective Services had been alerted.
