The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has announced that it is currently reviewing the complaints surrounding the 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) in order to identify and address any technical glitches.

After receiving an unusually high number of complaints regarding the UTME results, JAMB has assembled a team of experts to conduct a detailed examination.

The team includes members from the Computer Professionals Association of Nigeria, Chief External Examiners, the Educational Assessment and Research Network in Africa, and various university vice-chancellors.

In a statement from its Public Communication Advisor, Fabian Benjamin, JAMB highlighted concerns over complaints from specific regions.

The board noted that it is expediting its annual system review, which typically occurs months after the examination.

This comprehensive review will encompass all stages of the examination process, from registration to result release.

JAMB assured the public that any technical disruptions during the exam would lead to rescheduling for the affected candidates.

The board is carefully scrutinizing the complaints to identify any issues, and if glitches are confirmed, it promised to take swift remedial actions.
