A young lady, identified as Blessing, was filmed with no clothes on by some boys after she was reportedly caught sleeping with another woman’s husband.
The incident, which was recorded and shared on the social media platform X (formerly Twitter), shows Blessing crouching and wrapping her hands around herself to protect her modesty.
A male voice off-camera interrogates her and demands she speak up if she does not want to be assaulted.
To a question of what her name is, the lady says: “My name is Blessing.”
When asked why she was being paraded, she says, “I was sleeping with someone’s husband.”
The video quickly went viral, sparking a flood of reactions from online users, many of whom criticised the public humiliation and questioned why the man involved wasn’t equally held accountable.
A netizen speculated that the lady might have been warned to stop the relationship without her heeding the warning, leading to the drastic action by the boys, who were apparently instigated by the man’s wife.
Another opined that nothing could have warranted that action against the young lady, as her future could be altered by the video that will remain on the internet forever.
