18-year-old boy impregnates boss’ daughter, 9 others months after being sent to learn a trade

An 18-year-old boy in Anambra State has reportedly impregnated at least 10 girls, including the daughter of his boss, just months after being sent to learn a trade.

The shocking revelation was made by the Anambra State Commissioner for Women’s Affairs and Social Welfare, Ify Obinabo, who took to Facebook to seek public advice on how to handle the situation, describing it as beyond her capacity.

According to Obinabo, the teenager was sent to serve under a businessman but within three months had impregnated both his boss’s daughter and the salesgirl.

He was promptly dismissed and sent back to his village.

However, things escalated further when, just two months after returning home, the boy reportedly impregnated eight more girls in the village.

Speaking during a live video broadcast, Obinabo said:

“I need the public’s help because this issue is beyond my capacity. The boy was just 18 when he was sent to learn a trade. In three months, he impregnated his oga’s daughter and the salesgirl. After being sent home, he went on to impregnate eight more girls.

His mother came to my office, saying she now panics whenever she sees a girl approaching their house. She’s overwhelmed and pleading for help.

I asked the boy how he manages to convince the girls, and he said he simply tells them he loves them and promises marriage once he becomes rich.

This situation is alarming—not just because of the number of girls involved, but also because of the boy’s young age. I truly don’t know what to do next.”

Obinabo questioned whether the boy’s behaviour might have a spiritual undertone and urged the public to provide suggestions for a way forward.
