‘I promise you, I will fail half of this class’, YabaTech lecturer fumes over poor attendance
A Mass Communications lecturer of Yaba College of Technology (Yabatech) is trending after a video of him fuming over non-attendance of class by his students hit social media.
The lecturer, identified as Freddo, can be seen in the video lamenting that those in the class were not more than 80 in a class that should be 300.
“They feel Freddo is a kind lecturer and shouldn’t come. I promise you, I will fail more than half of you,” he said directly to the camera of a student recording. He asked him to post it.
He also threatened to report the situation to the head of department.
Many past students of the man took to the comment section to share their fond memories of the man’s class, wondering why any student would not want to attend his class.
One wrote: “As a mass comm student why you go dey miss fredo class 😂😂 I mean…. this man class nah joy giver 😂😂😂😂 I’m not even joking here”
