The embattled Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan has allegedly admitted that the number that her ex-ally, Dr. Sandra Duru, exposed during her live session belonged to her (Natasha).

She, however, added that she was a public figure and, as such, members of the public could have access to her number.

It would be recalled that Dr Duru, also known as Prof Mgbeke, displayed a number which she claimed Senator Natasha used to call her often before they fell apart.

She released the number with the messages they exchanged to disprove the claim by Senator Natasha that she did not know any Dr Sandra Duru or Prof Mgbeke and had never spoken to her in her life.

Duru, during the live session, stated that she was given an assignment by Senator Natasha to write a petition to select foreign institutions, making a serious allegation against Senator Akpabio.

She also released a leak of their conversation where the voice she claimed was Natasha’s told her to include in the petition that Akpabio was involved in the death of a lady and extracted an organ from her for the benefit of his ailing wife at the time.

After the live session, many Nigerians bombarded the comments section to either laud Duru or condemn her.

Some, however, questioned the genuineness of the number, with some supporters of Natasha claiming the number was fictitious, while some suggested it was a bot or AI-generated.

One Facebook user named Chuzzy Onyenso then tagged Natasha to ask if the number was indeed hers.

Surprisingly, she responded with her verified handle, owning up to the number.

She wrote: “ Chuzzy Onyeso It’s my number of course. I’m a public figure and it’s ok for people to have my number. I’ve been receiving thousands of calls and messages since last night. Few insults… many prayers and best wishes. I chose positivity and it’s nice to connect with Nigerians worldwide.” She added the love emoji.

The comment was later deleted, but as usual, Prof Mgbeke had already screen-grabbed it.
