A viral video circulating on social media shows a visibly distressed pregnant woman tearfully recounting how she was allegedly beaten up by her mother-in-law.
In the emotional footage, the woman claims her husband stood by silently as his mother physically attacked her — despite her being heavily pregnant and their young children present during the incident.
“Is it a crime to be married? You brought your mother to come and hit me… me that I’m pregnant! Asking a pregnant woman to leave the house in front of my children,” she cried out in the video.
Amid the confrontation, the woman is heard telling her husband to “carry your mother and go,” to which the mother-in-law loudly responds, “Carry your mother and go where? I’m sleeping here!”
She also demands the pregnant woman leave the house, shouting, “Get out of my son’s house!”
Refusing to leave, the woman fired back, “Is that how they drove you out of your husband’s house?” and pleaded with her husband to leave her alone.
A young child’s voice is also heard in the background saying, “It’s enough,” seemingly trying to calm the situation.
The video has sparked widespread reactions online, with many condemning the incident and reigniting conversations about domestic abuse and the treatment of women in marital homes.
