The family of Albert, the 9-year-old Ghanaian boy who became a viral meme sensation, has dismissed widespread claims that they have received significant financial support from content creators worldwide.
In an exclusive interview with GhPage, Albert’s family clarified that despite the popularity of Albert’s image online, they had not received a single cedi or naira from any content creator.
Albert’s mother revealed that while numerous individuals and influencers had made promises of assistance, none of those pledges had materialised.
The family also shared that Albert is a child with autism, stressing that he requires consistent care and attention.
