Portable laments as Burna Boy allegedly ignores his messages after gifting him ₦20m (Video)
Controversial Nigerian singer, Portable, has voiced his disappointment over Burna Boy’s silence after gifting him ₦20 million.
In a viral video where he was seen speaking with friends, Portable revealed that despite the generous cash gift, Burna Boy has since ignored his messages and calls.
He lamented that his request for a music collaboration had also gone unanswered.
“Someone that gave me ₦20 million has still not replied to my Instagram messages,” Portable said in the video.
“I don’t even have his number. I’ve been calling and texting him, but no response. Odogwu, Burna Boy gave me ₦20 million, but hasn’t responded since.”
He went on to label Burna Boy as “stingy” when it comes to responding to messages, expressing that while the money was appreciated, a song feature would have meant much more to him.
“A feature is more important than ₦20 million. Money will finish, but a feature is forever,” he said. “He didn’t even follow me or say hello on Instagram. He’s my helper, but I really need that feature. If I feature him, I don blow.”
