Man reportedly slumps, d!es on church altar during wife’s 60th birthday thanksgiving (Video)
Tragedy struck during a joyous occasion as a Nigerian man allegedly collapsed and died while celebrating his wife’s 60th birthday thanksgiving in Lagos.
The heartbreaking moment was captured in a video that has gone viral on X (formerly Twitter).
In the clip, the man is seen joyfully holding a microphone and singing praises, while his wife dances cheerfully beside him at a Christ Apostolic Church.
At a point in the video he grabs the hand of his wife and whispers something into her ear.
He gestured to his mouth with his right hand as to suggest that he asked for a glass of water.
As the wife dances away to implement his instruction, he shows visible signs of discomfort for a split second and put the microphone down on the podium before slumping backwards.
The men behind him caught him before he could hit the ground.
Sadly, he reportedly passed away shortly after the incident.
