A disturbing case of domestic abuse has emerged online, involving an employer accused of pushing her housemaid off the balcony of a two-storey building in Aba, Abia State.
The incident, which has sparked outrage across social media, was brought to light in a now-viral Facebook post by a concerned individual who claimed the incident occurred at 204 Niger Road, directly opposite Newday Fast Food in Aba.
According to the post, the housemaid was allegedly thrown from the second-floor balcony as punishment for an undisclosed offence.
“She needs justice. She’s a domestic help. Her madam pushed her off the second floor of a two-storey building just because she offended them. Can you imagine such cruelty? Let’s make this go viral and fight for her justice,” the post read.
Although the specific reason behind the act has not been revealed, social media users have condemned the alleged assault and are demanding swift justice for the victim.
