Fuji star, Taye Adebisi, popularly known as Taye Currency, has opened up about losing N10 million to the recently crashed investment platform, Crypto Bridge Exchange (CBEX), blaming four of his close associates for luring him into the scheme.

In a now-viral video captured during one of his live performances, the singer recounted how individuals identified as Sodiq, Small London, Lateef, and an unnamed friend convinced him to invest in CBEX.

According to Taye, Sodiq visited him on April 1 and spoke about the success others, including Lateef—allegedly a CBEX brand manager—had achieved through the scheme.

Taye Currency revealed that Lateef claimed to have turned N200,000 into N600,000, a story that encouraged him to invest his insurance savings into the platform.

“You’ll hear how CBEX collected over N20 million from me and people around me. Alaba even used N1.2 million stolen from the stage to invest. Brother Muca added his N500,000 from a gig. Lateef himself invested N1.4 million,” he lamented.

Sadly, the entire investment disappeared, leaving Taye heartbroken.

In the emotional video, he cursed those who introduced him to the platform, saying, “If they die well, they won’t rest well. I was minding my business before they brought CBEX to me.”
