Varsity student allegedly commits suicide after walking in on his girlfriend having s*x with another man

A 100-level student of the University of Education, Winneba (UEW), has reportedly died by suicide after allegedly catching his girlfriend in bed with another man.

According to multiple sources, the student took a casual walk from his GUSS Hall One residence to GUSS Hall 2 where his girlfriend resided, hoping to pay her a surprise visit, only to find her in an intimate session with another male student.

The sight was reportedly too much for him to bear as he fainted on the spot and had to be revived by other students.

He was then carried to his own hostel nearby to recover.

He was reportedly left alone when they believed he had fully recovered. The heartbroken student, who is said to be from a wealthy background, reportedly seized the opportunity of being alone to hang himself in his room.

A viral video making the rounds on social media shows the moment university authorities and police officers removed the young man’s body from the hostel premises.

While the university is yet to issue an official statement, the Ghana Police Service has launched an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the student’s death.
