
Armed men reportedly stormed the family residence of Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan in Obeiba-Ihima, located in Kogi State’s Okehi Local Government Area.
According to intelligence sources cited by security analyst Zagazola Makama, the Senator’s Chief Security Officer, Yakubu Ovanja, reported the incident to law enforcement agencies.
Ovanja stated that the attack occurred around 1:00 a.m. on Tuesday, April 15, 2025, and involved at least three assailants armed with cutlasses and firearms.
The attackers allegedly vandalized parts of the property, including smashing windows.
A response team from the Okehi Police Division was quickly dispatched to the scene following a distress call.
No injuries or casualties were reported, and no suspects have been apprehended as of yet.
Authorities have begun preliminary investigations, with the motive for the attack still unclear.
Senator Akpoti-Uduaghan has not released an official statement regarding the incident at the time of this report.
