Police summon MOPOL officers captured receiving cash from Chinese nationals in viral video

The Nigeria Police Force (NPF) has summoned DSP Aliyu Adejembi and his team after a viral video emerged showing them receiving cash from Chinese nationals.

The footage, which surfaced on social media on Tuesday, depicts a group of Chinese individuals handing out bundles of mint N5,000 notes to uniformed Mobile Police officers lined up while on escort duty in Kaduna State.

The video has since triggered widespread outrage and condemnation from Nigerians online.

In response, the Force Headquarters in Abuja has issued a directive to their unit commander, ordering the officers to report to Abuja for interrogation and possible disciplinary measures.
