At least three police officers have been gunned down by unknown assailants in Achi, located in the Oji River Local Government Area of Enugu State.
The tragic incident reportedly occurred near the Ozudaa Market, where the officers were stationed at a checkpoint.
While full details are still emerging, a disturbing video circulating online shows the lifeless bodies of the slain officers at the scene.
Attempts to reach the Enugu State Police Public Relations Officer, SP Daniel Ndukwe, were unsuccessful as he did not respond to calls at the time of filing this report.
